Cianbro plans energy facility at former radar station

Pittsfield-based Cianbro Corp. is one of three New England companies that have purchased a former U.S. Air Force radar station in Somerset County, with plans to use it to generate energy. Cianbro announced yesterday it bought the 1,300-acre property in Moscow along with two Massachusetts-based firms, Conroy Development Corp. and Jay Cashman Inc.
