Kittery shipyard work gets another $16M

In a third round of funding, the U.S. Navy plans to direct nearly $16 million to modernization work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery.
The Navy has informed the Senate Appropriations Committee that $15.8 million will fund repairs and energy conservation work to the Removable Submarine Covers building, according to a press release from U.S. Sens.
