Oxford call center closure affects 64 workers

Massachusetts-based CCS Global Holdings abruptly closed its Oxford-based call center this week, putting more than 60 people out of work.

Gino Sanchez, the human resources manager at the credit card collections company, told the Sun Journal the closure was a business decision, but didn't elaborate. Centers in New Hampshire and Massachusetts will not be affected.

CCS opened the Oxford call center at 891 Main St. in the summer of 2003. Department of Labor spokesman Adam Fisher told the paper the state will reach out to the 64 workers who lost their jobs.
