Home sales rise, price inches up

Home sales last month rose double digits, while the median sales price managed to also inch up, marking the first price increase since July 2011.
A total of 731 single-family homes were sold in Maine in March, a 13.2% rise over March 2011, according to the Maine Real Estate Information System Inc.
