Auburn nets $1.7M for technology park

The city of Auburn is receiving $1.7 million in federal funds to pave the way for a new, 119-acre technology industrial park. U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud announced yesterday the city and the Auburn Business Development Corp. will receive the funds from the Economic Development Administration to build the infrastructure for the planned park at the end of Lewiston Junction Road, near the Poland border.
