Auburn's Lepage Bakeries bought by Georgia co.

An Auburn-based bakery that makes Country Kitchen breads and other products is being acquired by a Georgia company. Flower Foods of Thomasville, Ga., is buying Lepage Bakeries Inc. for $370 million in cash and stock, according to a press release.
Besides Country Kitchen, Lepage Bakeries operates two bakeries in Lewiston and one in Brattleboro, Vt., as well as a store delivery system. It also makes Barowsky's Organic Breads, and has more than $166 ...
