Report highlights new laws passed this year
Portland law firm Pierce Atwood has released its 2012 Summary of New Maine Laws, a roundup of what the 125th Legislature approved that's relevant to its clients. The 66-page report includes laws for higher education, employment, health care and energy, among other sectors. It also includes changes to state administrative processes, as well as noteworthy bills that were defeated.
