New York co. buys shuttered Greenville biomass plant

New York-based Patriot Energy Services LLC has signed a contract to purchase the Greenville Steam Co. biomass plant in Greenville, with plans to recall more than 22 employees. The sale price was not disclosed, but according to Patriot Energy, the cost to build the facility new would exceed $57 million.
