Cabot Creamery opens Old Port shop

Cabot, the Vermont-based cheesemaker, has opened a commercial retail shop in Portland's Old Port. The Cabot Farmers' Annex Shop at 163 Commercial St. had a soft opening June 15, and will host an opening ceremony July 6 to coincide with the First Friday Art Walk.
The store will sell Cabot products, New England specialty foods, and Maine crafts and souvenirs, according to a press release. It's the only Cabot store outside its home state of Vermont. ...
