Tribe to disburse $10M settlement among members
The Passamaquoddy Tribe has decided to split evenly among its members a $10.2 million settlement the tribe received from the U.S. Department of the Interior, the result of a 2006 lawsuit filed against the department by 60 Native American tribes around the country.
Each of the approximately 3,500 tribal members will receive about $2,900, according to the Back to article
