State to pay $678K in drug law ruling

The state has paid $678,189 in legal fees in a battle over a 2007 law that restricted drug manufacturers' use of information about doctors' drug prescriptions.
In a press release, Gov. Paul LePage says a federal judge last month ordered Maine to pay those fees.
