The state has rejected part of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield's plan to switch some individual policyholders to plans the insurer will offer on Maine's federally run health care exchange. That plan would force around 9,000 policyholders in southern and central Maine to change health care providers. Eric Cioppa, superintendent for the Maine Bureau of Insurance, said the company must revise its offerings in 10 southern and central Maine counties.
