Argo opens Lewiston call center

Argo Marketing Group has completed the first phase of construction on a call center at a new downtown Lewiston location.

The Sun Journal reported the call center, which is located in the basement of the former McCrory’s department store, has 90 workers in two shifts. Owner Jason Levesque told the paper the company plans to have up to 150 employees by March. The second phase of construction, which includes retail and administration offices in the building at 64 Lisbon St., is expected to be completed by mid-February, the company said in a press release.

Levesque told Mainebiz in a November interview that he’s hoping to book $14 million of work for the call center in 2014.
