Most voters in a Jan. 8 Mainebiz poll said the state cutting $40 million from revenue sharing with municipalities would affect their business. The House and Senate have both given initial approval to a plan to avoid such cuts through $15 million in new revenue, $21 million from the state's rainy day fund and $4 million from an income tax reduction fund.
Do you support the revenue-sharing bill now heading through the Legislature?
