A Forbes magazine article, “The Business Case For Open-Book Management,” provides persuasive evidence that companies sharing financial information with employees become stronger. When everyone in the organization is able to see how monthly expenses and sales revenues impact the bottomline, Forbes reported, employees are more likely to “think and act like owners” and do what they can to move those numbers in the right direction.

We summarize revenue/expenses, but employees are more than welcome to ask for further details either at the meeting when information is presented or on their own.
