Greenlight Maine competition heats up as 13 semifinalists vie for $100K prize

Greenlight Maine, an entrepreneurial pitch contest with a $100,000 prize, has selected the 13 semi-finalists who will move on to the Season 3 finals in June.

The 13 companies advancing were selected from 26 semi-finalists selected last summer to participate in a weekly Greenlight Maine TV show that runs statewide via WCSH6 and WLBZ2 on Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m stating last September. Semifinalists received mentoring from some of Maine's best and brightest corporate, media and marketing executives as well as receive extensive promotion across television, print, social and digital media.

In addition to the $100,000 annual cash prize that is awarded each June to the winner of the season, millions have been invested in companies that have been showcased.

The following Season 3 semi-finalists will move on to the finals in June:

  • Vango, founded by Faith and Sarah Meads
  • Zootility, founded by Nate Barr
  • Sidewalk Buttler, founded by Mike Roylos
  • Amp Fins, founded by Randy Lord
  • Forager, founded by David Stone and Michael Yang
  • Jellux, founded by Zach Taylor
  • CourseStorm, founded by Brian Rahill
  • [Re]Produce, founded by Grace Burchard and Anita van Dam
  • NibMor Inc., founded by Ralph Chauvin
  • DAVO Technologies, founded by David Joseph
  • G-O Lab Inc., founded by Joshua Henry
  • North Spore, founded by Eliah Thanhauser
  • Advanced Concepts and Engineering, founded by Joel Costonis.
