LIVERMORE FALLS — Berry Fruit Farm of Livermore is opening a bakery and market at 54 Main St. in a former realty office.

The 1,428-square foot building on a 5,227-square-foot lot is at the corner of Maine and Bridge streets. The listing price was $28,000. The single-story building was constructed in 1987.

The Berry Fruit Farm Bakery and Market is slated to open Sept. 4, according to a news release from owners Joel and Melissa Gilbert.

The store will sell homemade pastries, fruit and vegetables from the farm and local products.

The owners say the store is in addition to their U-Pick and Farm Stand at 361 Crash Road, Livermore.

The new store is an opportunity to raise awareness and reach new customers, the release said.

“Looking back, it's amazing and such a blessing to see how far Berry Fruit Farm has grown,” the owners said in the release. “We want to say ‘thank you’ to our neighbors who have supported us. We are so enthusiastic about opening this new location for our customers.”
