Maibec sells Masardis, St. Pamphile mills to another Quebec company

Aroostook County’s largest sawmill has been sold to a new Canadian owner, Groupe Lebel of Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Maibec, a family-owned wood products manufacturing company based in Levis, Quebec, announced the sale of its lumber mill in Marsardis and the St. Pamphile mill in Quebec to Groupe Lebel in a news release on Tuesday.
