HR Dive, an online newsletter that says its mission provide busy professionals “with a bird's-eye-view of the HR industry in 60 seconds,” reported this week that a majority of workers in the United States are worried about retirement — and would like their employers to help them with retirement planning. Most (75%) wanted help calculating how much to save for a secure retirement; 72% said they'd like help in calculating how much to anticipate spending each month in retirement. Other findings of the study cited by HR Dive: 72% of the respondents said they'd like their employers to help them plan for health care expenses in retirement; 68% said they'd like help with comprehensive financial planning.
