Every year since 2003, Mainebiz has chosen 10 people we think will influence the future of Maine's economy. We call them Nexters. The 2011 Next List honorees were featured in the 10/17 issue of Mainebiz. Click here to read more about them.

More than 200 people gathered at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport to fete the 2011 Mainebiz Next List honorees.

This event was also a fundraiser for the Next List Alumni Scholarship fund. The fund is hosted by the Maine Community Foundation and is intended to help a Maine student majoring in business earn his or her degree. Thank you to everyone who supported this cause by attending the event, making a donation or taking part in the silent auction.
