Carolyn Brodsky
President | Sterling Rope 

Having started and run two companies, Marketing Basics Applied, Inc, and Sterling Rope Company, Inc, Carolyn in an entrepreneur, strategic thinker and a problem-solver. As president of Sterling, located in Biddeford, ME, she has directed the company to become a leading life-safety rope manufacturer with a reputation for innovation, passion, and a dedication to excellence. In recognition of ongoing commitment to producing superior quality products in the USA, Sterling received the "American Made Outdoor Gear Award" in 2015 presented by Kokotat.  In acknowledgement of her leadership, Carolyn was named a "Woman to Watch" by Mainebiz in 2012.
 

Rebecca Lamey
Chief Human Resources Officer | MaineGeneral Health System

Rebecca Lamey, SPHR-SCP, serves as the Chief Human Resource Officer for the MaineGeneral Health system. She has served in that role since 2001. Prior to that time, Rebecca was the VP for Human Resources as MaineGeneral Community Care, a subsidiary of MaineGeneral Health. MaineGeneral Health employees 4300 employees in over 60 locations throughout central Maine. MaineGeneral Medical Center is the 3rd largest hospital in Maine and the health system provides comprehensive acute care and outpatient services including Homecare & Hospice, Long Term Care, Retirement Living and Behavioral Health care.

Robert Sansone
Chief Human Resources Officer | Tyler Technologies 

Mr. Sansone is the chief human resources officer at Tyler Technologies and is based in their Yarmoth, Maine office. He has more than 30 years of experience in human resource management, including recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee development, and policy development. Prior to his current role, Mr. Sansone was director of human resources for Munis, which he joined in 1994 and which Tyler acquired in 1999. He also held numerous human resource leadership roles with ABB and Combustion Engineering before joining Tyler.


Larry Shaw
President & CEO | MMG Insurance Company 

Larry M. Shaw is president and CEO of MMG Insurance. MMG, headquartered in Presque Isle, Maine, is an AM Best "A" Excellent rated regional property and casualty insurance company with operations in Maine, New Hampsire, Vermont, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Larry has been with the Company since 1982. Prior to being promoted to President and CEO in 1995, he served in various capacities, including Chief Operations Officer, Vice President, and Secretary. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine and a Masters Degree from Husson College. He has also attended the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School and at Wharton School of Business. He holds the CPCU and AU designations. Larry is a recipient of the Maine CPCU's Lee Allen President's Award for Excellence. He was inducted into the Junior Achievement Maine Business Hall of Fame in 2015.

 

Patricia Weigel
CEO | Norway Savings Bank 

Pat Weigel joined Norway Savings in 2001, and has worked in the banking industry for more than 25 years. She is the first female president and CEO in the bank’s 150-year history. Weigel is active in the community and serves on the boards of Norway Savings Bank and Outdoor Sports Institute. She also serves as board chair of Western Maine Health and is a member of the Professional Development Council of the American Bankers Association (ABA). She is a graduate of Denison University.

Ed Cervone
Executive Director | Educate Maine

Ed is the Executive Director of Educate Maine, a business-led education advocacy group with a mission to champion college and career readiness and to increase the overall education attainment level of Maine people.  Ed has worked on issues of education and economic development in Maine’s nonprofit sector for over a decade and served in a variety of roles at the Maine Development Foundation, the Maine Center for Economic Policy and other organizations. He received his postsecondary training at Princeton University and at the University of Maine.
