General Dynamics has received a $10 million contract extension from the U.S. Army for MK19 grenade machine guns, which will be made at the company's manufacturing facility in Saco.
The work will be done with General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products' existing work force in Saco and is expected to be complete by July 2012, according to a press release from the company. The contract extension brings the total contract value to over $67 million.
