Yarmouth firm seeks to boost dental industry

A Yarmouth couple is launching a new program that aims to train dental assistants in 11 days and address more than 100 job vacancies in Maine.

The Bangor Daily News reported that VIP Dental Assistant Training of Maine is being launched by Dr. Brian Boynton and his wife and business partner, Marcy Boynton. The inaugural class will take place over 11 Fridays starting on Jan. 2

Marcy Boynton said the program is “perfect for recent high school graduates, young moms or those who desire a better career and lifestyle.”

VIP Dental Assistant Training is being pushed as an inexpensive way to help train Mainers for a position that currently has many vacancies across the state.
