Technology company with Lewiston office to pitch to defense agencies
A technology consulting company with an office in Lewiston is pitching the U.S. Department of Defense and a dozen other government agencies on its cyber threat detection software at a December defense technology showcase in Texas.
The Sun Journal reported Monday that aizoOn will compete for $100 million in seed capital at the invitation-only Defense Innovation Technology Showcase in Austin. AizoOn, pronounced "eyes on,” has divisions in the United States, Italy and Australia. It opened an office in the Pontiac Building on Lisbon Street in Lewiston a year ago.
Seven employees, mostly software developers and electromechanical technicians, work in Maine, the paper reported. Rob Dolci, president of aizoOn USA told the paper that he would like to grow the Lewiston office to 15 to 20 employees over the next two years.
AizoOn will be one of about 250 companies that will pitch their products at the defense technology showcase when it presents its cyber threat detection system called Aramis.
