Mere hours after the Bernie Sanders’ rally at the State Theatre in Portland drew a crowd of over 1,000 supporters, GOP frontrunner and New York businessman Donald Trump announced that he would be making a campaign stop today at a rally less than one block from Wednesday’s event, at The Westin Portland Harborview Hotel.

Introducing the Republican presidential nominee hopeful will be Maine Gov. Paul LePage, who announced last Friday that he would be throwing his support behind Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

“I was Donald Trump before Donald Trump became popular, so I think I should support him since we’re one of the same cloth,” LePage said on the conservative radio show The Howie Carr Show, when he announced his endorsement for the real estate mogul.

Trump’s visit to Maine’s largest city comes on the heels of his major Super Tuesday victories in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Massachusetts and Vermont. Currently, Trump holds 319 delegates across the country, putting him ahead of second-place GOP candidate U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, who currently has the support of 226 delegates.

Cruz announced on Wednesday that he would also be making a campaign stop in Maine at the University of Maine in Orono on Friday.

The wave of presidential hopefuls throughout the week leads up to this weekend, when Maine will be holding both its GOP and Democratic caucuses on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Trump’s rally is scheduled to kick off at 1:30 p.m. in the ballroom of The Westin Portland Harborview Hotel in the heart of downtown Portland.
