In a unanimous vote, the University of Maine System Board of Trustees has reappointed Chancellor James H. Page to continue serving at his post through June 2018.

“Chancellor Page has delivered impressive results, earning the board’s appreciation and a unanimous endorsement for reappointment through the 2018 fiscal year,” Board of Trustees Chairman Sam Collins said in a prepared statement. “The board has every confidence we will keep the students and state we serve centermost in our consideration as we work to serve Maine as One University under Chancellor Page’s continued leadership."

Page, who was the first Maine native and University of Maine alumnus to serve as chancellor, was appointed chancellor by the board of trustees in March 2012.
