Maine Startup & Create Week, the annual celebration of all things entrepreneurial, will be taking its show on the road with a series of events across the country.

The series of events, which are possible through a partnership with the New England-based office furniture company RedThread, will bring Startup & Create Week organizers to Seattle, Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Dallas.

“Maine Startup and Create Week is about convening people in this great place, but it’s also about intentionally engaging folks across the country and the world about what a great place Maine is to live and work, especially on high-growth and high-impact ventures,” Katie Shorey, co-chair of the event’s partnerships team, said in a statement.

When and where in these cities the new series of receptions will be held is still unknown. The 2017 Maine Startup & Create Week will take place from June 19-23, 2017.
