Flea-for-All set to open in repurposed Paul’s Food Center

An opening date has been set for the vintage wares and antiques store Portland Flea-for-All, with a soft-opening for the 585 Congress St. store slated for Oct. 6.

The Portland Press Herald spoke to co-owner Erin Kiley who said she and her husband, Nathaniel Baldwin, have invested time and money into renovating the downtown Portland storefront that was home to Paul’s Food Center for 40 years.

“I think the community really misses having a grocery store downtown,” Kiley told the Press Herald. “But I can’t think of anyone who would be better stewards of this property than us.”
