The Golden Arches shine on South Paris once again

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, South Paris officially marked the grand re-opening of a McDonald’s location at 118 Main St. on Friday.

The new 4,850-square-foot restaurant, which was built in the fast food chain’s next-generation style, includes enough seating for 106 patrons and modern amenities like a flat screen television and free Wi-Fi.

The store, which was built next to South Paris’ original McDonald’s, also has several new efficiency components including an energy-efficient HVAC system and an energy management system for more efficient refrigeration, lighting and heating.

“We are very excited about serving the greater Oxford Hills community from our newly rebuilt facility,” the location’s owner and operator, Sal Napoli of the Napoli Group, said in a release. “Town officials have helped make this process very smooth and we look forward to once again welcoming our loyal customers as well as visitors to the region.”
