Roxi Suger, the designer behind the AngelRox clothing label, will open her second Suger store at 271 Commercial St. in Portland on June 1.

Born in Oklahoma and raised in Alabama, Suger has been in Biddeford since 2013, where she and her husband and business partner, Julian Schlaver, sell a line of women’s and girl’s clothing at the Pepperell Mill Campus.

Suger’s Portland boutique will carry her entire line designed and manufactured in Biddeford, as well as accessories and gifts from local makers and global artisans.

Her new store will be in the former E. Swasey & Co. Pottery building.

Suger recently told Mainebiz that working in a repurposed textile mill in Biddeford was an “amazing joy.”
