Rockland toy company No. 1 in Google search results

Rockland wooden toy company Bella Luna Toys is the No. 1 search result on Google for "Wooden Toys" — ranking above bigger companies like Toys 'R' Us.

The PenBay Pilot reported that Sarah Baldwin bought the company in 2009 as an online business and today employs 10 and ships toys internationally.

In 2015 she bought another online business, Oompa Toys, which also ranks on Google’s first page. She sources from more than 100 different vendors and artisans, importing toys from all over the world to her Rockland warehouse. This week, she launched a new website that provides a directory of resources related to Waldorf education, to complement her toy businesses.

In June, Baldwin told Mainebiz she grew the toy company to $1 million in revenue by 2015 and was on track to double that number for 2017, with a third expansion of her warehouse space in the works.
