Sticky Sweet, a sticky rice and vegan ice cream shop, is leaving space at the Public Market House in Monument Square in Portland for Cumberland Avenue.

“The space does need a bit of work though, so we can’t say when we’ll be scooping our plant-based ice cream, but we’ll be working hard to get the space ready as quickly as possible,” they told Mainebiz in a Facebook message.

The shop will sell dairy-free ice cream and homemade gluten-free waffle cones.

Sticky Sweet pints of dairy-free ice cream can also be found at the Portland Co-Op, Lois’ Natural Marketplace in Portland and Scarborough, Morning Glory in Brunswick, Royal River in Freeport and Frinklepod Farm in Arundel.
