Parsifal Corp. relocates to Fairfield, adds jobs

Relocation and procurement technology firm Parsifal Corp. has moved from Waterville to Fairfield, adding two-dozen jobs with plans to add more.

The business, with corporate headquarters in Palm Bay, Fla., moved from 93 Main St. in Waterville to 14,037 square feet of space on 3.14 acres at 50 Eskelund Drive in Fairfield, property it bought earlier this year that was formerly owned by nearby Kennebec County Community College.

Between job retention and new job creation, Parsifal employs approximately 60 employees at its new location, up from the 35 to 45 it employed in Waterville. The company plans to continue to hire well into 2019, Garvan Donegan, director of planning and development for the Central Maine Growth Council, told Mainebiz on Monday.

The company’s former Maine location was in The Center building in downtown Waterville, which is being converted to an arts hub by Colby College and Waterville Creates!.

The new Fairfield offices complement the company’s operations in its Florida and Petersburg, Ind. offices, according to a news release.

The building was updated with minimal renovations, the release said, including renovating for two conference rooms, 14 private offices, and four large department areas to allow for separate workflows, and a large modern training room.

“We could not be more excited to welcome Parsifal to Fairfield,” Town Manager Michelle Flewelling said in the news release. “Our partnership, including implementing a newly revised tax increment finance district, will enable us to create and enhance business development and job creation opportunities for the town and our business park.”

Donegan said in the news release the company has done “exceptional work” in bringing new jobs, investment and future opportunities to the area. “Parsifal continues to deliver transformative next-generation technology services and solutions to clients globally here in Fairfield, Maine,” Donegan said.

Parsifal has a worldwide client base, including corporations, carriers and move managers in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe, the company said.
