Expedia.com named Wells as the top nature destination in Maine in its latest list of top spots nationwide.
The Bangor Daily News reported that Expedia mentioned opportunities such as boating in Wells Harbor and hiking at Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge and Wells Reserve at Laudholm.
Wells joins other top spots around the country like King Salmon, Alaska; Kipahulu, Maui, Hawaii; Sun Valley, Idaho; and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
