The Limerick Fire and EMS Department hosted a “Hose Uncoupling” — or ribbon-cutting — ceremony and open house on July 12.  About 80 people attended and the fire department toured folks through the finished facility after the ceremony.

The facility, built by Great Falls Construction of Gorham, is at 23 School St.

Construction in April 2023 and concluded 14 months later. The cost was funded by the town along with $1.8 million in Congressionally Directed Spending, secured by U.S. Senator Susan Collins, R-Maine, through the FY 2023 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations bill.
