The Maine Technology Institute has sponsored three companies’ trip to the New England Venture Summit this week in Dedham, Mass., in order to attract new capital investment.
The Sun Chronicle reported that the companies going to the summit are the Sanford-based wireless communications firm Wentworth Technology, Orono-based Cerahelix and AcademicMerit, based in Portland. Cerahelix makes ceramic water filters and AcademicMerit sells software designed to help students, teachers and administrators improve language and communication skills.
