Simmons joined his company’s wellness challenge in January. Here are the changes from December 2011 through May:

Weight: 200 lbs to 150 lbs

Waist: 36” to 30”

Blood sugar: 106 mg/dL to 60 mg/dL

LDL cholesterol: Over 200 mg/dL to 90 mg/dL

Triglycerides: 180 mg/dl to 70 mg/dL

Overall cholesterol: 250 mg/dL to 138 mg/dL

Blood pressure: Needed regular medication, now 106/68 without prescription
