How do I subscribe?

To subscribe to Mainebiz you can click on the red “Subscribe” button on the top right of your screen, or you can click here.

What does a subscription include?

A Classic Mainebiz subscription includes: bi-weekly print and digital issues, unlimited website access, exclusive newsletters, and special event perks. A Premium Mainebiz Subscription includes all Classic benefits plus full access to the Mainebiz Data Center.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Please note that cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund. Once cancelled, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current term. You can view the end date of your subscription on your account page.

Refunds: If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact our Circulation Team directly. Refunds are not processed automatically upon cancellation and must be requested. Full refunds are only available within the first 7 days of the start of your subscription. After the first week, partial refunds will be issued based on the remaining value of the subscription term. All refund requests are subject to review and approval by our Circulation Team.

I can’t access all Mainebiz articles, why is that happening?

There are two reasons that you may not be able to read all Mainebiz articles.

  1. You do not have a current subscription to Mainebiz. If you are not a Mainebiz subscriber, you can only read our unlocked articles. If an article is locked there will be a message that it is a Subscriber Only article. If you want to view a Subscriber Only article, you would need to purchase a subscription.
  2. You are a subscriber, but you are not logged in. If you are a Mainebiz subscriber but cannot access all articles, please confirm that you are logged in properly to the Mainebiz site. When you are logged in, the buttons in the top right corner of your screen will show the buttons “Account” and “Log Out”. If you are seeing “Subscribe” and “Login”, then you are not logged into the site.

My reset password link is not working. What should I do?

If during login, you click the “Forgot Password” link and do not receive an email with instructions, please reach out to circulation@mainebiz.biz for help resetting your password.

My company would like a group subscription. How do we set one up?

Mainebiz offers discount packages for companies purchasing 5 or more subscriptions for their employees. Please email circulation@mainebiz.biz for more information.

How do I change my subscription address?

There are two options for changing your address:

  1. Make the change via your account page on our website. Log into the site, then click the “Account” button in the upper-right corner of the page. From there under “Addresses” you can see your current bill-to and ship-to address and make any desired changes. You will see the changes reflected immediately in your online login and it your next print issue will go to the ship-to address.
  2. Contact the Circulation team at circulation@mainebiz.biz.

How can I obtain an issue copy?

Mainebiz is not sold in stores. You can purchase a copy of Mainebiz by emailing orders@mainebiz.biz. Please include the date of the issue as well as your mailing address.

How do I purchase an article that appeared in Mainebiz?

Mainebiz sells specially formatted PDFs or reprints of articles that we have published in print or online. These 8.5×11″ sheets feature your article with the Mainebiz logo and article date at the top of the page. They are the perfect size for an addition to your marketing materials, posting on your website and framing for a keepsake. If you are interested in ordering a reprint you can email reprints@mainebiz.biz OR fill out this form online.

How do I purchase a photo that ran in the paper?

Requests for reprinting Mainebiz photos are handled on a case-by-case basis. Photos may be copyright of Mainebiz or the individual photographer. For assistance, please contact our editor, Peter Van Allen. Please include the date the photo ran and a description of the photo. If you found the photo on our website, please include a link to the photo/article in your email.

How do I nominate someone for an event?

To nominate someone for a Mainebiz award, navigate to the Mainebiz Nominations page and then to the specific event that you are looking for. Once on that event page, there will be a nomination link available if nominations are still open for that event.

How do I submit a news tip or story idea?

The best way to get covered in the Mainebiz is to keep the editorial staff informed about what you or your company is doing, or about any industry trends that pertain to your business. If you have an announcement about a person in your organization, news tips or story ideas, please use our editorial contact form.

How do I add an event to the calendar?

To add a business-to-business event to our business event calendar use the “Submit a Business Event” form. Your submission will be sent to the Mainebiz staff for review. If approved it will then be published on our website.
