A representative for San Diego-based International Wood Fuels is calling the company's plan to build a $20 million wood pellet plant in Waldo County dead.
The company in July 2009 said it would open a plant in Burnham adjacent to golf-tee maker Pride Manufacturing Co., producing 100,000 tons of wood pellets annually and creating 300 jobs.
