Bangor International Airport Assistant Director Anthony Caruso will take on an interim director role when outgoing leader Rebecca Hupp leaves for another job.
Caruso's appointment as interim director is effective March 17, according to the Bangor Daily News. He will run the airport until a permanent replacement for Hupp is found. Last month, Hupp announced she will take a job as director of the Boise Airport in Idaho and will leave Bangor in mid-March. She begins her new job April 2.
The city of Bangor plans to begin searching for a permanent director soon, according to the paper.
