Cooking Channel features Maine eateries

Four Maine businesses will be featured in an upcoming episode of the Cooking Channel show “Extra Virgin,” which will air on Wednesday.

During a trip to southern Maine in July, show hosts Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos made a pilgrimage to the Holy Donut in Portland, bought lobsters at Portland Lobster Co., took in the freshly-baked goodness of the South Portland-based Scratch Baking Co. and had dinner at The Well at Jordan Farm in Cape Elizabeth, according to the Portland Press Herald.

The Maine episode will feature several recipes, including a lobster roll recipe from Portland Lobster and a trio of recipes from The Well at Jordan’s Farm, including lamb-ricotta meatballs and seared cod with farro.
