SymQuest Group Inc., an IT services and office technology provider with dual headquarters in Westbrook and South Burlington, Vt., said it has named a new president to take over on April 1.

Meg Fleming, most recently the company’s chief operating officer, will take over the president role from SymQuest co-founder Larry Sudbay, who is stepping down as acting president and CEO. Sudbay will serve on the board of directors. Fleming will report to Rick Taylor, CEO of SymQuest’s parent company, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc.

Fleming will work out of the South Burlington and Westbrook offices.

“Meg has shown exemplary leadership among her peers. Her ability to problem solve and manage large scale strategic objectives has shaped her skillset as an executive,” Sudbay said in an announcement March 3. “In addition to her professional leadership, her vision for client service delivery excellence will serve SymQuest well in the years to come.”

In addition to its dual headquarters site in Westbrook, SymQuest has a site in Lewiston. Elsewhere, it has locations in Rutland, Vt.; Plattsburgh and Watertown, N.Y.; and Keene and West Lebanon, N.H.

SymQuest has 188 total employees, including 26 at its two Maine sites. In fiscal year 2016, SymQuest had sales of $40 million, up from $39 million in 2015.
