The average price of a gallon of gas has jumped 10 cents over last week to $3.79, which is 11 cents higher than the national average.
The website MaineGasPrices.com reported today that the average price in Maine is now 17 cents higher than one year ago and 23 cents higher than one month ago.
Over the last week, the national average gas price rose 3 cents.
