Mölnlyke begins hiring in Brunswick

Mölnlyke Health Care, which manufactures health care products, has begun the first phase of hiring at its new facility under construction at Brunswick Landing.

The company's human resources manager, Lisa Lutterman, told The Times Record that the company has already hired 10 of its workers for the new $14 million, 72,000-square-foot plant that is scheduled to open early this summer at the former Brunswick Naval Air Station. It intends to hire between 35 and 45 employees and add more depending on demand at the new facility.

The company, which acquired one of its principal suppliers in 2010 — the Wiscasset-based foam producer, Rynel — will house manufacturing, quality assurance laboratories, offices, warehousing and research and development at the facility.
