Lepage Foundation to donate $10M to St. Mary's Health System

St. Mary's Health System, headquartered in Lewiston, will receive $10 million from the Albert Lepage Foundation to establish the Albert Lepage Center for Patient Experience.

The Sun Journal reported that it’s the largest donation in the hospital system's history, to be given over a number of years. The center will be designed to improve patient experience.

"You've got that real, personalized experience for the patient and the patient really feels comfortable and welcomed and can access care easily," J. Bradford Coffey, president of St. Mary's Health System Foundation, told the newspaper. Lepage has previously donated money to St. Mary’s.

In 2016, the Albert Lepage Foundation donated $10 million to Hebron Academy in Hebron to complete renovations at The Albert Lepage Center for the Arts and establish the Albert Lepage Center for Diversity. Lepage is the former president of Lepage Bakeries in Lewiston.
