Idexx earnings jump
Idexx Laboratories in Westbrook today posted a second quarter net income of $39.4 million, an 82% increase from the same period last year.
The biotech firm's revenue for the second quarter, which ended June 30, was $280.5 million, a roughly 18% increase from the same period last year.
For the six months through June 30, the firm posted net income of $66.9 million on revenue of $529.6 million, which represents a 57% increase in net income and an 18% increase in revenue from the first six months of 2007.
