An agricultural operation, appliance retailer and power service provider are the latest tenants to lease space at Loring Commerce Centre in the Aroostook County town of Limestone.

The tenants were brought in by Green 4 Maine LLC, a development company that owns 450 acres, in a section designated as Green 4 Maine at Loring.

Loring Commerce Centre, about 10 miles east of Caribou, was formerly Loring Air Force Base. The total size is 8,700 acres.

Keller Williams Realty brokered the leases.

Circle B Farms

Circle B Farms, owned and operated by Thomas and Gina Ayer of Caribou, leased 21,000 square feet in a building that once housed a bowing alley.

For five years, Circle B Farms has been a source of blueberries and other produce across Aroostook County. Leasing the building at Loring is expected to provide expansion opportunities into eastern markets such as New York, Boston, Philadelphia and as far south at North Carolina.

The operation has growing in recent years, expanding its broccoli harvest from 150 acres in 2022 to 450 acres in 2025 and using integrated pest management as a natural organic methods for crop care. Circle B Farms employs around 25 people.

Elsewhere on the campus, Norstar Appliances, founded by Adam Peckham of Caswell, is expanding into 8,000 square feet and Greystone Power Services LLC, a division of the Greystone Group of Cos., leased 42,000 square feet of space to house its growing fleet of line repair trucks and operational infrastructure.

Norstar

Norstar began eight years ago as a side hobby, repairing laundry and kitchen appliances for family and friends. It grew into a business that today offers used washers, dryers, ovens and refrigerators, along with in-home and in-store repair services. Service coverage stretching from Fort Kent to just south of Houlton. Norstar has two employees and is looking to hire more to meet growing demand.

The expansion to Loring “gives us the space to grow, better serve our customers and create more opportunities right here in the County,” said Peckham.

Greystone Group

The Greystone Group is a Canadian firm headquartered in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Can. Greystone Power Services LLC will use its space as a command operations hub for Maine deployments, with over 30 employees.

Greystone offers power line services, bridge restoration work, special engineering projects and aggregate export via ship, serving clients across the U.S. and Canada.

Other activity at Loring

Earlier this year, Taste of Maine Potato Chip Co. in Presque Isle launched construction of a 96,000-square-foot potato chip plant, expected to open by April 2026.

With 8,700 acres and hundreds of buildings, Loring Commerce Centre is the largest commercial and industrial park in Maine and has a 12,000-foot airstrip. The campus has approximately 45 commercial and industrial tenants.
