Maine Savings Federal Credit Union has appointed Erin Campbell as senior vice president of finance and accounting.
In this newly created position, Campbell will report to CFO Dave Sayers. She brings eight years of experience in finance and accounting, and has held various positions including CFO of Brewer Federal Credit Union and assistant vice president of finance at Maine State Credit Union.
Prior to joining the credit union industry, she began her career specializing in auditing financial institutions and nonprofit organizations.
The Sidney resident received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and her MBA from Thomas College. She is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner.

Maine Savings FCU, founded in 1961, has more than 35,000 members. The credit union employs 140 people and operates branches in Bangor, Bar Harbor, Brewer, Corinth, Ellsworth, Hampden, Milo, North Vassalboro, Old Town and Portland.
Maine Savings FCU was ranked No. 2 among the largest Maine-based credit unions in the 2023 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on $587.8 million in total assets as of Sept. 30, 2022.
