Mass. co. to expand in Gardiner

A Massachusetts company that makes motor oil is expanding its operations in Gardiner.

Dennison Lubricants, based in Lakeville, Mass., plans to build a 20,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility at the city's Libby Hill Business Park, Barry McArthur, operations manager for Dennison in Maine, told Mainebiz this morning. The company, which currently employs 14 at a warehouse it leases in Gardiner, plans to hire seven new workers.

The company bought two lots at Libby Hill in December and will start building the $3 million facility in April, McArthur said.
