Pat LaMarche to stump for casino
Former gubernatorial candidate Pat LaMarche is the new spokesperson for a proposal to build a resort and casino in Oxford County.
Seth Carey, an attorney in Rumford, said yesterday he hired LaMarche to represent the Evergreen Mountain Resort campaign because she can bring a "message of hope and economic viability to the people of Maine," according to a press release. Voters will decide on the proposal in a referendum this November.
